Free Fluency Exercise

Use the following exercise to help children improve their fluency and expression while reading. Often decoding the words becomes the main focus of a child learning to read, placing expression on the back-burner and fluency flies out the window. With this non-word exercise, children can easily focus on reading with expression and fluency as opposed to accuracy and comprehension.
