Hand Print Wreath

So I altered the “plan” a little with some creativity – Since I didn’t have a red bow, I instead cut out hand prints of both girls hands and had Becca glue them together into a circle. Then I used a few rolled pieces of construction paper and glued the two wreaths together like so:

Next, we glued sequins on for decoration. I was quite pleased with the outcome and Becca thought it looked like the perfect spot to play with the felt cow:

The cow is today’s advent calendar piece – Eliana doesn’t care about the calendar, (at 7 months, all she cares about is playing with whatever she can get her hands on and eating… and getting into her sister’s things… I suppose not much will actually change as she grows older, huh?) but Becca is starting to understand the concept of the calendar, if she doesn’t quite get the meaning behind each piece yet. This morning she was all excited that we’re almost to the “end of the first row!” because we are that much closer to the end when it will be Christmas!
