Homeschooling is growing in popularity yet is still quite controversial. While many parents are opting to school their children at home as an alternative to the public school system and the cost of the private school system, this is a difficult and challenging prospect that is not for every parent.
Many educators are against homeschooling because of the lack of education the parents have and because of some homeschool students who are unable to interact socially with their peers. Even so, for many families homeschooling is an excellent option that produces great results.
For the best homeschool education, parents should not isolate themselves. Becoming a part of a homeschool group is a must as this provides parents a support group and students an opportunity to interact with other students.
