Classroom Management

Classroom management is one of the most difficult things that teachers deal with on a daily basis. This is a skill that comes naturally to only a few teachers, but it is a skill that all teachers can learn effectively.

It is important to continue to work at your classroom management through self-reflection. What does this mean? Each time a classroom management “issue” comes up, spend time later to reflect and think about what happened, what you did in response and what a better response may have been.

Through this reflection you will learn more appropriate and more effective responses to the variety of issues that come up on a daily basis in the classroom.
