Individual Tutoring Sessions
Looking to hire a private tutor? Considering your options? Find out more about what I can do for you and if you have any additional questions, feel free to contact me.
Who am I and What do I do?
My name is Jennifer Wagaman and I am a private tutor. I am a certified teacher in both regular education K-6 and Special education 1-8. I have an Elementary education degree from Messiah College with a special education emphasis. I have experience teaching 4-5 grade special education and tutoring experience with pre-k-adult.
What can I do for you?
I can meet with you and you child, develop a unique academic program that will address the specific needs your child has. I can provide specific ideas for you as the parent to help with at home. Together, we can help bring grades up and turn learning into a fun activity.
Where will I meet you and your child?
At this time I am only available to meet at my home in Annapolis, Maryland. Tutoring is how I manage to stay at home with my daughter and as such I need to be home to care for my daughter and cannot meet at an alternate location.
How much do I charge for tutoring sessions?
As a professional teacher my rates are competitive with local professional learning centers in the area. At this time I charge $50 for a one hour session and offer a discounted rate of $35/hour when you book two or more sessions per week.
Do I have Testimonials or References?
Yes, I have both testimonials and references. Read on below for comments parents and students have made about my tutoring services. If you wish to speak personally to a reference, contact me and I can provide reference information.
